Gift Aid increases the value of your donations to a charity by allowing us to reclaim an extra 25p per £1 on your donations. There is no extra cost to you. Gift Aid scheme is for Gifts of Money by Individuals who pay UK tax.
In Order to include Gift Aid with your donations, your donors need to include the following vital information on your sponsorship form for HelpHarryHelpOthers to be able to claim the extra donation from them:
- Their full name, full home address including a post code (not a work address)
- Tick the Gift Aid box in the end column (this confirms they are a UK tax Payer)
It is very simple and means your total donations to charity could increase by 25% without you doing a thing!
